· Remote rotation device
The Remote rotation device will be what allows the player to rotate the levels to his/her will, allowing the player to figure the puzzle out and advance through the game.
· Hand/Arm exoskeleton
The player will be able to jump onto ledge within the game once the exoskeleton upgrade is obtained, this will allow a player to mix this ability with his/her steam boots to jump and grab onto ledges at greater distance.
With the Exoskeleton upgrade, players will be able to jump and then press the right bumper (Xbox360 controls) to grab onto the ledge and hold on. Players will be able to hold onto ledges after basic jumping, double jumping and while freefalling through the air.
· Steam boots
The player will be able to charge up his/her Steam Boots once obtained to achieve greater acrobatic heights. For example on the standard Xbox360 controls the player will hold down the A button to charge up the boots and upon release jump three times higher than the standard jump.
The distance travelled during player jumps will be displayed in units in the images below. One unit vertically counts as the players’ height while one unit horizontally counts as the players width.
As seen in the image above, players will be jumping on various scales. The most basic jump and unlocked top the player at the start of the game will be the basic jump; this will allow the player to jump one unit upwards. Once the double jump has been unlocked by obtaining the steam boots, players will be able to hold down the A button (xbox360 controls) and jump two units high.
Jumping will also allow the player to jump over gaps within the game, the controls are the same as basic jumping yet the player must aim with the left analogue stick in the direction he wishes to jump.
